Imagic released more titles for the Atari 2600 than for any other game system. Imagic's first release was Demon Attack for the Atari 2600 in 1981. Atari soon filed a lawsuit against Imagic due to the striking similarities the game shared with their arcade hit Phoenix, but ended up ultimately losing the lawsuit. Imagic would end up releasing 18 titles for the Atari 2600, many of which are considered among some of the best games released during the time period.
